From Noise To Notable: Why I'm Starting This Marketing Journey and How It Can Help Your Brand Grow

Posting is easy. Resonating is rare.

We’re living in a time where everyone posts but very few connect. Social feeds are louder than ever, yet so many brands struggle to make people stop scrolling. That’s where my journey begins. Hi, I’m Halla and welcome to my first blog! Yay πŸ˜€

After years of helping brands craft campaigns, manage creative ads, upscale their business, and grow their online presence, I realized something simple but powerfulThe difference between brands that grow and those that fade isn’t because of their budget, it’s their story. Yes you guessed that right! I’ve seen businesses of all sizes spend thousands chasing clicks, likes, and views. But without strategy & an intriguing story, it’s all just noise. πŸ”Š This always lead me to the question of: Everyone’s talking, but who’s being heard? The truth is:

Content without strategy is just noise in a crowded room. Loud but forgettable.

So, I decided to build something different.

This blog (and my new Instagram platform: Marketing over Noise with Halla) is my space to share what I’ve learned and what I’m still learning about marketing that truly creates an impact. The kind that blends creativity with analytics. The kind that inspires and converts. The kind that helps brands move from being seen to being remembered! Spoiler later: Expect a little bit of sass on your feed along with simple & digestible marketing tricks.

πŸ“ƒ Why I’m Starting This Blog

Well for starters, I’ve always believed marketing is both art and science. A mix I’ve always been curious about. My motto is ‘I want to help brands become signals, not noise’. To create that sweet spot between emotion and data, storytelling and strategy.  I want to simplify marketing, spark creativity, and help businesses make their message memorable. It’s also no secret that I love writing and blogging is one of my favorite outlets for this kind of expression and passion.

Even though this blog took me forever to start, (hesitation & procrastination are to blame 🀭) I’m glad I finally stepped up and decided to just write, reflect, and launch. I hope this inspires you to do the same. Life's too short overthink anything!

Over the years, I’ve worked with brands across various industries and countries, from startups to established businesses. This has motivated me to start blogging my global experiences and share my knowledge with everyone. While every brand has its own challenges, one truth stood out for me:

The best marketing doesn’t feel like marketing. It feels human. It feels like connection.

That’s what I want this blog to be about. A mix of marketing lessons, storytelling insights that increase growth, creative experiments, natural connections, and just honest reflections on what actually works in digital marketing.

Last but definitely not least, here are the top 4 most valuable, actionable marketing lessons I’ve learned along the way.

  • Consistency beats virality
  • People don’t buy products; they buy the feeling your brand gives them (building genuine connections beats loud campaigns)
  • Data means nothing without storytelling
  • Leveraging AI for efficiency & personalization is of utmost importance

Quick, digestible, memorable.

πŸ’‘ My personal opinions and thoughts on what truly matters when it comes to online marketing

This space isn’t just for marketers, it’s for creators, entrepreneurs, and dreamers who want to make their brand unforgettable.

πŸ“Œ Why It Matters

In my humble opinion, I believe that visibility is nothing without memorability. Your brand deserves to do more than just exist online, it deserves to connect. Most businesses  understand this extremely simple concept but few know how to achieve it. A very basic concept that always resonates with me is ‘content is common but connection is currency’. This is exactly what my new blog hopes to achieve.

Whether you’re building a business or refining your message, my goal is simple:

To help you create marketing that people feel, not just see.

Likes Don't Pay The Bills. But Smart Strategies Do. You can’t deposit likes, but you can bank on strategy. Hello my curious readers, We all love likes, we love watching numbers jump, hearts pop up, and comments roll in. It feels so good like a tiny digital applause. In our fast-paced world today, people judge a brand faster than they judge pineapple on pizza. Yes, and in under three seconds sometimes. One scroll, one tap, one glance, and your audience has already decided whether they’ll engage with you or move on to the next shiny thing on their feed. Sounds familiar right?πŸ‘€ The truth is, social media aren’t just the place where people share fancy vacation photos or quick dance challenges anymore (even though these trends are still hot). Social media are the front door to your brand. The very first impression actually; and if your door looks uninviting, outdated, or even worse, forgettable, πŸ’ then your audience won’t even bother knocking. Attention spans are so limited and sc...
Subtle Shifts That Can Transform Any Brand Into A Cult Favorite What if impact comes from insight, not volume? Hello my curious readers! πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘‹πŸΎ Spring is just around the corner and I’m finally back to writing again. πŸ™ŒπŸΎ It’s been a while actually and I guess I’m having a writer’s block or so, hhhmm. Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about topics such as re-branding, restructuring, renewal, revival, and how some campaigns can transform entire business directions or even fates. Sometimes I feel it’s the un-thought of, smallest shift or change that usually results in the biggest impact ever and I just love that. πŸ’œ This is exactly what inspired me to write about this topic. So let’s jump right into it, shall we? Lately I’ve been seen a ton of amazing brands and founders focusing too much on trends, short-term hype, followers, constant ads, and attention; as if their whole life depended on that. Maybe it does! πŸ™„ However, they are forgetting the fact in order to increase sales and create a...
Thoughts and Insights A small collection of ideas shaping my marketing brain lately. Hello my curious readers! πŸ‘‹πŸΎπŸ˜Ž It’s been a while since I wrote something, but here I’m finally writing down some thoughts that I’ve had on my mind since last year. Every once in a while, I like to pause, reflect, and rethink. I ask myself: What I’m I learning now, what is missing, and what’s shifting around us in the world of marketing? This keeps me balanced and on track. So consider this article a little brain‑dump of my recent thoughts and insights: part reflection, part prediction, part opinions, and part here’s my new obsession. If 2025 has taught me anything, it’s that marketing is never still or dull and honestly, that’s what makes it so fun.😍 πŸ“£ The Year That Shaped My Voice Writing my last few blogs felt like building a Lego house one step at a time. Some days the steps felt smooth and on other days they were wobbly. However, every piece taught me many valuable lessons about persever...
